2024 Bika Netball Gala (Round 1):

After a successful dinner at Hotel Africana to officially usher in the Bika Bya Baganda sports championships at 50 years, the tournament proper gets underway starting with the netball gala at St Lawrence University playground.
The opening round of the netball game will be played on Saturday, 20th April 2024 with 24 games on the menu.
In some of the games to be played; Nvuma takes on Nkebuka, Mazzi Ga Kisasi against Babiito Be Kkooki, Omutima Omuyanja with Nsunu, Nakisinge versus Ntalaganya, Ffumbe lockhorns against Namungoona, Omutima Omusagi against Kiwere, Ngabi Nsamba with Babiito Be Sanje, Mbogo up against Lukato, Ngaali with Kibi, among other matches.

The Bika sports committee local organizing committee chairperson Hajji Sulaiman Magala has urged the subjects of the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II to turn up in big numbers.
“As we celebrate the Bika sports tournament at 50 years, we kick off with the netball gala on Saturday, 20th April 2024 at St Lawrence University. I urge the subjects of the Kabaka to come to rally their teams. I also call upon the netball fanatics and well-wishers for this sports gala” Hajji Magala remarks.
After netball, there will be football whose official opening is 27th April 2024 at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium.
