Singer Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine’s elder brother Chairman Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu’s wedding is just around the corner.
By that, we mean that before this week ends, on Friday 26th April, Chairman Nyanzi and his long-term lover Majorine Nyanzi Katumba will be tying the knot in the holy matrimonial ceremony.
The ceremony is expected to be colorful, and the couple is set to take their martial vows at Rubaga Cathedral Church where they have invited all well-wishers to attend and witness the function as the two lovers will be united to become one.
After the wedding, the reception where the lovebirds will be inviting their guests is at Freedom City Hall, along Entebbe Road.
However, what is different about this wedding is that when the celebrations are done, there will be no honeymoon for the couple to relax from the pressures that come with organizing the ceremony.
Chairman Nyanzi Ssentamu, notes that they chose to cancel the honeymoon session disclosing that he is too busy with his political party duties since he is head of mobilization in the party and has a lot of tasks to accomplish.
To him, he says just achieving the goal of holding the wedding itself is a big win on his side and the wife believes that the honeymoon will come in the future when Chairman Nyanzi is relieved of the heavy duties that are burdening him.
Chairman Nyanzi and Majorine are blessed with 11 children in the 23 years they have been living together as husband and wife. The couple’s wedding had to go down in 2020 but found themselves postponing it after COVID-19 struck the nation and the President called for a lockdown with just two days left to their big day.
By that time the couple had just successfully held their amazing introduction (Kukyala) ceremony where the wife introduced Fred Nyanzi to her parents in the Kyankwanzi district.
Chairman Nyanzi is grateful to God for having blessed her with a prayerful wife whom he considers his warrior at home and through any daunting tasks that he faces.
