Days and nights that pass by to the long awaited Olympic Games (Friday, July 26 to Sunday, August 11, 2024) in Paris city, France really matter.

The different athletes in the respective countries are roaring to go for the these games.

“I am training well and getting ready. The 10,000m is my favourite race and I would love to give my best shot ever as I bid farewell to the track” Cheptegei assured as he signed up with Infinix brand as their ambassador.

During the last Olympic Games in Tokyo city – Japan, Cheptegei won two medals; a gold in 5000M and silver in the 10,000M.

The gold in 10,000M was claimed by a Ugandan in Jacob Kiplimo, Cheptegei’s good friend and running mate to seal Uganda’s double joy.

“My preparations are now at the climax. I will need to do one or two races as tune-up” he added.

The Infinix brand officially partnered with the Joshua Cheptegei Foundation to supply gadgets (phones, smart watches and laptops) with other details yet to be concluded in the nearest future.

Infinix who have also worked with young music diva Baby Gloria joins Cheptegei’s other partners as NIKE, Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) and UNDP.
