Management of Gomba Ssaza confirmed the new technical docket to steer the team for the 2024 season in the Buganda Kingdom Masaza football tournament.

Celebrated tactician Edward Golola is the technical director of the team to lead the team as confirmed on Wednesday, 17th April 2024.

Frank Mulindwa is the head coach of the team that was last year coached by Felix Kawooya Ssekabuuza.

He has vowed to maintain the football philosophy at the team of purposeful passing the ball to get the desired results with silverware the end-product at the apex of the project.

“I am honoured to serve Gomba Ssaza football team” Mulindwa who has been at Buweekula for three season revealed.

“I will uphold the team’s playing philosophy, nurture new talents and aim to win the trophy” he added.

Frank Kitindide will deputize Mulindwa as the assistant coach whilst Ben Kalama will serve as the goalkeeping coach.

The quartet all worked as a complete unit at Buwekula Ssaza during the 2022 football season.

Gomba Ssaza football team lost to Bulemeezi in the 2023 football final at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku stadium, missing the opportunity to win their 6th trophy in as many seasons since 2014.

The tournament is ear-marked to kick off in early June 2024.
