NBS TV After 5 presenter Edwin Katamba, popularly known as MC Kats desires to use his position in society to give hope and counsel to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Through his MC Kats Foundation, Kats intends to use his following and influence to help in the fight against HIV stigma and discrimination.

Via social media, the celebrated emcee revealed that he is starting a new YouTube show dubbed “How I Got HIV” in which he will reveal how he contracted HIV.

He aims to provide information to the masses on how to avoid falling victim to the deadly virus and how to live healthily.

The self-styled King Of The Mic yearns to share the information to help the younger generation avoid making the same mistakes he did as a younger man.

I want to tell you the story of how I got HIV but at the same time the story is supposed to help a parent out there watch out for their child, help a young boy out there to know how these things happen, to probably give you a hint on how to avoid it.

It is to help anybody out there infected with HIV, to show them that life goes on – you still have hope, you still have dreams to chase. I have been chasing my dream, I think I have had this disease for twelve to thirteen years but am still top of my game.
