Uganda’s Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) Titus “The Rock” Tugume and American Louis Catoe faced off recently in Florida state, United States of America (USA).
There was no clear-cut winner between the two fighters with the judges calling for stalemate.
The fight was dubbed as “Unfinished business: Center Florida fight night” at the Seminole Blvd in Senford Civic center, Florida state, organized by the Cage Life Foundation.
Tugume believes the referee and judges ought to have granted him the victory after inflicting several kicks and heavy punches onto his opponent.
“It was a good fight that I would have been given as victory. I disciplined my opponent but I will still respect the referee and judges’ final decision” Tugume narrated to Kawowo Sports.
Last month, Tugume represented Uganda at the 13th African Games in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) under the demonstration games hosted by Ghana in West Africa.
He also held high profile engagement meetings with the Global Mixed Martial Arts officials led by the president Alexander Engelhardt at the Alisa Hotel North Ridge in Accra city, Ghana.
After the games in Ghana, he has since been based in Florida, USA where he is undergoing intense training drills.

He is expected to return to action on 20th April 2024 in a Grappling fight contest with a yet to be known opponent.
Tugume, an active army officer in the Uganda Airforces is expected to return home in late May 2024.
His management and camp is yet to announce a big fight as he intends to bid farewell to active fighting before embarking on a career in training athletes and administration.
