At the recent UNMF jam session, legendary band artist Joanita Kawaalya delivered a powerful message to all artists and industry members urging them to put aside their differences and unite for the greater good of the music industry.
Highlighting the prevalence of backstabbing and selfish actions, she emphasized the destructive impact it has on the industry and called for a return to the supportive culture of the past, which beared so many fruits for them all.

She reminisced about the days when artists worked together, supporting each other’s endeavours and celebrating each other’s successes. She emphasized that collaboration, rather than competition, is the key to a thriving industry.
