Kitara head coach Brian Ssenyondo yearns to unlock Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye’s full potential.

The name Zaga hardly needs introduction in Uganda’s football circles because whenever it’s mentioned, it comes with a number of mixed reactions.

A number of fans and football pundits have narrated how good Zaga was while growing through the football ranks while others have expressed their frustration with how he hardly lived to their expectations.

In an emotional interview with Uganda Fan Tv, Ssenyondo narrated how he always wished to help Zaga improve his game.

“I have seen Zaga for quite a while as a footballer and I truly know how talented he is,” he stated.

“I am one of the people that yearn to see Zaga’s potential get unlocked. I am glad he (Zaga) has embraced change and am optimistic he will soon get back to his best,” he added.

“ I have ever moved to coach Mike Mutebi requesting his to take on Zaga because I felt he was the only gaffer that would handle the young talent as deserved.”

“I love to see someone with potential get guidance from the right people. Many young talents give up on the game because of frustration and I hate to hear that because it’s challenging.”

“When I got a chance here (at Kitara), I called him and am glad we are now working together. We are smoothly growing a bound where he clears knows my demands.”

Ssenyondo called upon different gaffers to learn both players’ strengths and weaknesses so as to make the best out of them.
