Juma Miburo has been named as head coach for Eastern region football entity Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mbale Football Club.
Miburo agreed with the team management and penned a season-long employment contract with the third tier side.

The CAF “C” licensed tactician had lately served at Mbale Heroes Football Club where he served as the assistant coach under Asaph Mwebaze.
At UCU Mbale, Miburo will work with former Mbale Heroes footballer Cartoche Lutula who has been the head coach of the team.
Emmanuel Mukisa is the goalkeeping coach whilst Joseph Muhooli is the team trainer.
This Friday, 19th April 2024, UCU Mbale will play Admin (Bugisu United) at the Mbale City stadium during the derby contest.
UCU Mbale has 24 points, three shy of the table leaders Mbale Garage Football Club.
