Ugandan rapper Zedmonk Ssabatontomi has kicked off his Guinness World Record rap challenge, aiming to shatter the existing record for the longest rap marathon by an individual.

Currently held by PONEY in Tokyo, Japan, with an impressive time of 48 hours, 1 minute, and 10 seconds, Zedmonk is pushing the boundaries further. His target? An astonishing 80 hours of continuous freestyle rap.

The attempt commenced at Namaste – Kampala, where Zedmonk, fueled by passion and determination, has been spitting rhymes for over 15 hours non-stop.

Netizens and several artists like Ragga Dee and local rappers have turned up to show support. Cindy the president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), also stands in solidarity with Zedmonk, showing the unity within the music community.
