Champions Boys: Amus College School
Champions Girls: Amus College School
Amus College School from Bukedea district won two football trophies (boys and girls) during the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) in the Teso zone.
The belated boys’ football finale witnessed Amus College School pip Kaberamaido’s Kobulubulu Secondary School 1-0 at Ngora High school playground on Sunday, 14th April 2024.

Muzamiru Abdulrazak was the hero with the all important goal of the game before hundreds of spectators.
Muzamiru’s goal arrived towards the apex of the opening stanza of the well contested game.
“We utilized our sporting moment and defended well. Credit to the players. They deserved and worked for this victory” Amus College head coach Nimrod Kintu revealed.
The final was delayed from 1st April 2024 after complaints had arose questioning Kobulubulu’s use of ineligible players.
Kobulubulu had eliminated Bukedea Comprehensive School 7-6 in post match penalties after normal time had ended goalless.
Amus College School girls’ football team captain receives the trophy
In girls’ football, Amus College School edged Onset from Katakwi 1-0 to win the contest.
Focus and attention swiftly switches to the national football championship due in Masaka, kicking off on 25th April 2024.
The girls will play their national meet in Luweero district at Ndejje Secondary School.
