The 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ankole zone boys’ football championship in Ibanda district has reached the round of 16 stage.
Sixteen schools are standing and remain in the competition as of Saturday, 13th April 2024 ahead of the quarter finals.
Two Mbarara based schools Welden High School and Ntare School square up at the PTC playground.
Buremba and Nyakyera United square up at the Nyabuhikye playground whilst Ryakachinga CHE will face Kicwamba High School, Kinoni at the PTC playground (noon)
Home school Ibanda SS will face Nganwa High School at Kaaro playground.
In the other games, Muntuyera High School Kituuga will face either St. Augustine or St Andrew’s Rubindi.
St Kagwa High School will play Creamland High School at Ibanda SS playground.

1. MUNTUYERA HIGH SCHOOL VS ST.AUGUSTINE/ST.ANDREWS RUBINDI – Kaaro Karungi (12 PM)
2. ST. KAGWA HIGH SCHOOL VS CREAMLAND HIGH SCHOOL – Ibanda SS Playground (10 AM)
3. IBANDA SS VS NGANWA HS – Kaaro Play Ground (10 AM)
4. BUREMBA VS NYAKYERA UTD – Nyabuhikye Play Ground (10AM)
5. WELDEN VS NTARE SCH – PTC Playground (10 AM)
6. RYAKASINGA CHE VS KICWAMBA HS/KINONI HIGH SCHOOL – PTC Playground (12PM)
7. NYAMITANGA /Kanyabwanga VS NYABUBARE – Nyabuhikye Playground
8. ARMY/KASASA VS ISINGIRO/KABINGO – IBASCO Playground
