BUL 1(6)-1(5) KCCA

Pajule Lions 1-0 Pakwach Young Stars

Herbert Achai and Peter Magambo saw their penalties crash the cross bar as KCCA lost out to BUL in the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter finals at Njeru.

The closely contested affair ended 1-1 after 120 minutes despite goals arriving early in the first half with Alex Kitaata and Ettiene Katenga netting for BUL and KCCA respectively.

Kitaata opened the scores after six minutes but Katenga replied four minutes later.

There were few chances created in the 90 minutes with either side defending astutely although Katenga saw his goal bound effort blocked by Ronald Otti.

KCCA were aggrieved towards the end of the second half of extra time as referee Mashood Ssali waved off their penalty claims.
