Quality High School Buwundo Buikwe qualified to the 2024 nationals of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) boys’ football championship that will be held in Masaka city.
Along with St Julian High School Mukono and Mukono Kings SS, Quality High School Buwundo Buikwe will represent the Greater Mukono zone at the treasured nationals.
Ivan Nsera attributes this achievement to good planning, hard work from the players and coaches as well as determination.
“We achieved qualification to the 2024 USSSA football finals out of good planning, determination and hard-work from the players as well as the coaches” Nsera disclosed to Kawowo Sports.

Ashirafu Munyaga, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the project is overwhelmed by the achievement.
Munyaga lauded the school management, technical staff, players and well-wishers for the collective effort.
“We were focused to achieve the qualification feat. Special thanks go to the school management committee, technical staff, players and well-wishers” Munyaga notes.
Attention and focus shifts to the national championships that will happen in Masaka city.
At least 60 schools will play in Masaka where Wakiso district’s St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende is the reigning champion.
