Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 4pm

URA coach David Obua can’t wait to take his side to Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on Saturday to face one of his favourites clubs, Express FC.

Obua played for the Red Eagles before he turned pro and still holds the club at heart.

Speaking to the club media, Obua couldn’t hide his love for the Red Eagles although that won’t deter him from arranging his troops to beat them.

“It is going to be nice going back to a place I call home, a place that I love as Express is one of my favourite teams,” said Obua.

However, he doesn’t expect a rosy reception but a mixture as he tries to ensure the tax collectors return to winning ways after disappointing in the last three matches.

“Both good and bad,” he reacted when asked about the reaction he expects to receive from the fans.

“But I always tell guys that Express and Kaizer Chiefs, always love them and will always be part of these clubs and when I die, burry me in half red of Express, half Kaizer Chiefs gold and black,” he joked.

With Express also hitting rock bottom at the moment as they are winless since the appointment of Baker Mbowa, the former Ugandan international expects a tough game but the target remains to win.

“Both teams need to win but we need to close the gap and that’s the pressure we are on. The target as always will be to get all points and try to climb up the log,” he stressed.

The two teams are separated by a single position with URA 8th on the 16-team table with 31 points while Express are 9th with 29 points from 22 matches played so far.

URA came from behind to win the reverse fixture with Isaac Wagoina early goal cancelled out by a penalty from Moses Aliro and late winner by Laban Tibita.

Hot Stat: Both teams have won 3 of the last 11 matches hosted by Express FC in the league [D5]. URA last completed a double over Express in 2014/15 season.
