2024 USSSA Boys’ Football Championship
Host: Masaka Secondary School, Masaka City
For the first time ever in the history of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) boys’ football competition, the round of 32 stage will be played.
The playing format for the competition was changed with 16 groups (A to O) with the top two schools per group qualifying to the first knock out stage (round of 32).
After the group stage matches, the round of 32 kicks off on Wednesday, 1st May 2024 at different venues.
In some of the eagerly awaited clashes at the round of 32 will be Buddo SS against Bukedea Comprehensive school.
Another Bukedea ambassador Amus College will take on Paidha Secondary School.
Defending champions St Mary’s Kitende face Masaka city’s St Charles Lwanga Kasasa.
Kibuli Secondary School battles Jinja Secondary School; St Julian High School Seeta will lockhorns with Kyadondo SS and Jinja Progressive Academy will play Fort Portal S.S.
Welden Secondary School from Mbarara will square up against Kabalega Secondary School, among other games.
The successful 16 schools will progress to the pre-quarter final stage due on Thursday.
