Despite being a multitalented and busy woman in the Ugandan entertainment industry, Veronica Luggya a.k.a Vinka says motherhood has been simple.
The Swangz Avenue singer is proud of her partner Nelly Witta who she says is a dream lover and good father who always supports her in all her endeavors.
“I try to balance. I have a very supportive partner and he fills in when I have to go upcountry (for performances). He is a very good father and that’s one thing I am very grateful for,” Vinka said while on the Conversessions YouTube show.
Vinka says that she is still planning on holy matrimony with her lover and it seems they are yet to agree on what type of wedding they would like.
“I’m not yet a wife. I am staying with him but not yet a wife. This is when you tell him to put a ring on it,” she said before bursting into laughter.
Thing is he’s a politician, I am a musician; we want different kind of weddings and that’s fine. People have relationships and one wants a bigger wedding and the other wants a smaller wedding. But we’re looking into it.

Vinka also advised aspiring musicians on how to balance the spotlight and marriage. “Be clear,” she simply stated as she urged them to always be honest in the relationship and to fall in love with partners who will understand the demands of their work.
“Very many people say musicians do not last in marriage but it is working for me because I have had someone who understands you from the beginning,” Vinka said.
Vinka and Nelly Witta are blessed with a child she gave birth to in January 2021.
