Zedmonk Ssabatontomi has included his name into the books of rap history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest rap marathon by an individual.

On Sunday, Zedmonk took to the mic with determination, surpassing the existing mark by an additional 8 minutes and 50 seconds, clocking in at 48 hours and 10 minutes. The previous record, held by PONEY in Tokyo, Japan, stood at an 48 hours, 1 minute, and 10 seconds.

Fueled by his passion for rap music and support from netizens who have showed up at Namaste Restaurant in Kampala and online, he pushed himself beyond his limits, continuing to rap for an astonishing 75 hours thus setting a new record.

Now, Zedmonk awaits official confirmation from the Guinness World Records team and when approved, he will be the new world record holder.
