Kagimu  is not new to the FMU presidential elections. He has been in this position for a two years’ tenure  in 2010 to 2014.

Kagimu has since been part of the Senate committee; a commission for the former FMU Presidents.

It is expected that Kagimu has vast experience regarding motorsport management. There is potential to manage the challenging issues of the federation and what the federation may need to be a better place for motorsport administration in the next four years.

Lumu knows the  challenges faced by competitors. It is hoped in assuming leadership he can address the scope of competitor challenges.

JAMES JIMMY AKENA

Jimmy Akena

He is a rider, a rider parent and a politician.

Whereas FMU requires an aggressive character, Akena is known for being a calm, unpredictable but straightforward person.

The Presidential race has however been undermined by the existing governance wrangles.

Nonetheless, the assembly will decide who will best take the federation forward over the next four years.

Kawowo Sports will bring you each candidate’s manifesto in the subsequent articles.
