UPDF could move out of the relegation zone for the first time in a long time when they host fellow strugglers Gaddafi at Bombo.
In a game no team wants to drop points, UPDF will target a quick reaction to defeat at champions Vipers by returning to winning ways.
With 16 points and second from bottom, victory will see them overtake both Gaddafi and Busoga United who are on 18 points and thus improve survival chances.
The visitors also come into the game on the back of indecent results with four losses in succession and drawing just one game in the last five outings.
Gaddafi won the reverse fixture 2-1 at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja and will hope to complete their first ever double over the main army side.
